Beneficiary 1 – Municipality of Backa Topola
The project partners boast a long term relationship, as they have been twin towns for the past 20 years, since 1996. Both institutions have extensive experience in preparing and implementing projects. The organisation of common events, festivals and cultural collaboration all show that the two towns are on excellent terms. They’ve previously submitted a common project proposal for the Serbia-Hungary CBC Programme, which unfortunately did not win funding. As we can see, the partners and their affiliated organisations have been cooperating for decades. Their cooperation is efficient, fast and precise. The two institution’s common history ensures the successful preparation and implementation of the common project. Based on this partnership, actors are characterized with respect to their interests, skills, geographic influence, business capacity etc. LB coordinates the partnership.
